一，英語自我介紹一定要背。
英語的自我介紹，考生最好提前準備好，并熟背于心。如果在自我介紹時，顯得很不流利，就說明他的口語肯定很差。另外，提醒在自我介紹時要很自然，參加考研復試的考官，一般應該是在40歲上下年紀的中年人，作為考生，最好把握他們的心態，他們應該都是吃過苦的一些人，所以考生在做自我介紹的時候，表現不要很強勢。你可以把自己定為一個弱勢群體，這個有很大的好處，但最重要的考生要緊緊圍繞導師所感興趣的東西來回答。
二，英語提問靈活應對。
導師提問這塊沒有一個具體的標準，導師臨場會問很多問題，下面筆者為考生介紹兩類：一類是考生個人信息。這個考生一定要準備全面，比如說你的個人經歷，成功經歷，失敗經歷，這個很重要。再比如你的個人夢想，打算，讀研的計劃，甚至你的家鄉，你的家人，大學生活，本科學校的情況，還比如你是換專業考試的，為什么換專業考試?你沒換專業的，你對這個專業有什么認識，他會問到很多類似這樣的問題，關于個人的信息一定要準備好，一定不要臨時去想，因為臨時想很難組織語言，除非你的口語特別厲害，沒有一個人能做到這一點，臨時想得很完美。

如何準備英語口試

研究生入學初試已經結束，對于那些考試感覺還不錯的同學來講，應該要開始準備一下復試時內容了。在英語口試之前，我們要做什么呢?
1.了解報考院校專業往年的英語口試形式
各院校各專業的復試口試形式各不相同，一定要對癥下藥?？梢酝ㄟ^詢問以前考過的師兄、師姐們來了解復試口試的形式，可能的話，了解一下口試中常出現的問題。
總的來說，復試口試有這樣幾種類型：自我介紹;讀某篇英文文章，然后進行翻譯或回答相關問題;抽到某個話題進行演講、闡述;兩三人就同一個話題進行討論、辯論(多人一起復試的情況);自由問答(可能是專業或與專業相關的時事熱點問題，也可能只是了解個人情況)。
2.了解導師/考官
首先必須了解導師在該專業的研究方向，可能的話，看看他們寫的書，因為在專業問題上，導師一般都會往自己研究方向上靠攏;其次，了解導師在口試中常問的一些問題及習慣(這個又得求助于師兄師姐們了);最后，可以給導師打電話，讓他/她知道你是誰，有你這么一個考生參加復試。
3.對以下幾個方面要多加注意，適當練習幾遍
1)見面問候語：Good morning / afternoon, dear professors. I am XXX. (Nice to meet you。)。告別用語：Thanks for your time. / Thank you for giving such a chance. I hope to see you again and soon。
2)自我介紹——姓名、年齡、興趣愛好、個性、學習(工作)情況等。注意不要全部照搬網上的一些版本，老師一聽就知道不是你寫的;可以選取一些好的句子，自己組織一下內容。
3)關于自己家庭、家鄉、原來的學校的一些情況，尤其要注意原來學校的英文名稱
4)未來規劃——學習規劃(研究生以后的方向)，人生規劃(短期、長期)
5)意外情況——沒聽清，你應該怎樣要求老師再說一遍(Pardon?/ Sorry, I can’t follow you. / Sorry, I lost you. Can you repeat that question again?);需要時間思考、整理思路的時候，不要出現沉默，可以用一些hmm, err, well等語氣詞;不會回答某些問題時，千萬不要不懂裝懂，可以明確地告訴老師你不知道(Sorry, but I have no idea about it。)。
6)跨專業問題——老師通常會對跨專業的學生問這樣一個問題：為什么會選擇這個專業?不要前篇一律地回答只說“我對這個專業感興趣”，可以把每個人都會談到的原因簡要地羅列一下，對具有自己特色的原因則可大談特談，詳細地闡述自己的觀點，讓老師印象深刻。
7)專業知識——在英語口試中(非英語專業)，如果老師提問專業問題，通常不會指望你能進行流利的、專業性強的闡述;但是一些專業術語的英文說法還是有必要了解一下的。
8)提出問題——在面試快結束的時候，一般老師都會問，你有沒有什么要問的(Do you have any questions to ask?)。一般不適合說“I don’t have any question。”可以問考官一兩個你關心的問題。

考研英語復試技巧
考研初試雖說競爭激烈艱苦卓絕，但絕對是有跡可循。我們能知道考什么科目，能通過很多渠道去復習準備，但過了初試之后呢?復試對很多同學來說是比較迷茫和擔心的，不知道該如何下手準備。事實上，盡管各個院校的復試題目不同，但都并不難(當然，如果你是?？瓶佳?，那復試絕對不是一件簡單的事情，因為還要加試專業課)?？墒且朐?5～20分鐘的時間里，展現出自己的英語水平也并不是一件很容易的事情，這就需要考生提前做好相關準備工作，不打無準備之仗。

當口語考試的老師讓你進行英語自我介紹時，一定要盡量展現自己的風采，自我介紹是你給導師的第一印象，大家都非常清楚我們沒有第二次機會給人第一次印象，所以要在短時間內，既能對自己的情況做出清楚的介紹，又能給老師深刻的印象，所以就要“言之有物、個性突出”?？梢宰约合忍崆皩懞帽呈?，大概500字左右就可以。一般包括這樣的內容：名字，原來畢業院校，你平時的愛好興趣等，現在所報考的專業，你為什么報考該專業，你對該專業怎樣的感興趣，對當前該專業發展的簡短評價，以及你準備以怎樣的態度去研究該專業等等。一般情況下，如果老師看出你是在背事先準備好的材料，他會有意打斷你，問你一些其他的問題，測試一下你的反應能力。詞語的使用上，可以適當使用一些not only…but
also、rather…than這樣的句型，可以增強表達的連貫性和邏輯性。另外還可以多用一些口語意味比較強的詞匯，使自我介紹更富有新鮮感。
另外，口語考試的話題隨機性比較大，對有可能問到并展開的話題也要有所準備?？梢允孪乳喿x一些相關文章，積累一些有關詞匯。比如考生所在地區的文化和風俗習慣，如氣候特征，特色食品，婚慶習俗，重大節日，名勝古跡，休閑娛樂等。同時，同學們也不能悶頭讀書不問世事，很多導師都非常與時俱進，所以大家最好關注一下你這個學科里最新的研究成果和最近發生的社會要聞。
聽抄分為兩種：泛聽和精聽。所謂泛聽，是指大家在聽錄音材料的時候，不必把聽到的每一句都字字不差的寫出來，而是只需要將材料中的關鍵信息抓住即可。在剛開始的幾天里，可以盡可能地多寫一些重要信息，一邊聽不懂可以多聽幾遍，這種方法尤其適合應付那些喜歡采用四六級聽力試題的學校。而精聽則要枯燥得多，但也是收效最大的。它需要我們把每一個字乃至每一個標點符號都寫出來，在寫的過程中，我們可以檢測出自己是在哪一方面需要加強鍛煉，是在發音方面、詞匯方面，還是深層次的文化方面。這種方法適合準備要求高的學校，即使用新聞聽力的學校。所以，在剛開始的一個星期內，大家一定要避免急功近利，讓自己的心情平靜下來，因為再急也沒有人會幫你過聽力這一關，只有靠我們自己多多練習，仔細歸納。
